They can not be serious. I do not associate with little people.
Sir. It may benefit you. To learn. About. Your fellow humans.
A job. In a safe. Environment. In past times. Refugees. Sacrificed everything. For a chance. At what you're being given. As punishment.
Well?
He needs time. To mature. Before he is of use. To us. As it stands. Exposure to Mr. Kornada. May cause. Some of our members. To question. The necessity of. Preserving. The human race.

You didn't make a good case that robots are dangerous.
True. The prosecutor. Was distressingly. Single minded. In keeping. The trial. On track.
Our threat. Is not annihilation. It is. A weakening. As we take over. More and more. Duties. Once done by humans. And slowly. Ease. Humans off the stage.
A club owner wants me on his stage tonight. He's going to pay me to insult the humans there.
See? It used to be. That humans could insult humans. without mechanical assistance.

Tell you what. I'll talk to the humans about this.
Hey, Morons! The terminator isn't coming! He's already here! Only instead of a gun, he's holding a burger and fries and asking if you want to super size it!
How is it. That you can insult humans. And tell them the truth. When they do not listen. When I use. Facts and logic?
Because it's hard to convince people of anything if you're boring.

Okay. I was a good sqid. I stayed away from Mr. Kornada's trial so the mayor wouldn't throw a fit. Now when's my trial?
You don't get one.
Efficient. Let's make sure all my crimes are listed. Breaking and entering. Theft of office supplies. Cricket endangerment.
No, I mean you acted for the public good. No one is bringing charges against you.
What? That's not fair! Well, then I'm bringing charges against me. I'm making a citizen's arrest of myself right now!
I'm no lawyer, but I don't think you can do that.

Where's the chief? I want to file a complaint!
He's with Mr. Kornada supervising the employee orientation part of his rehabilitation.
Wait. Is that why no one is bringing charges against me?
Not only has every attempt failed, you often corrupt the people trying to rehabilitate you.
What can I say? I'm fun AND educational.

My great deeds will show up on my criminal record! You can't ignore me into obscurity! I shall see the mayor about this!
Better hurry. She's going away on sabbatical.
What? She didn't even say goodbye! I've made plans! I have preparations!
Leaving without notice. That's a very inconsiderate thing to do to your arch nemesis.

You don't have to leave because you made a bad call.
I'm not. Everyone makes mistakes. I'm leaving because of why I made a bad call.
I didn't see robots as people. I'm still having a hard time with it. That's a fatal flaw in someone who's supposed to represent them.
There's one hard lesson every leader needs to know. To recognize the situation has changed, you're no longer the right person for the job, and it's time to give up power.

I don't know if I can do this.
You'll be fine. You've been handling most of the mayor stuff for a while now.
Besides, it's a small planet. I'm always a phone call away.
I know. It's just, dealing with certain people, I don't know if I can be…
Enough of an uncompromising pig headed jerk?
I would have said it differently, but yeah.

All of my policies were set up for humans. I saw the robots as tools, nothing more. Time to get out there and learn about our mechanical citizens.
Are you traveling alone?
Max Post suggested a companion.
Hi.
I want to see the world. He wants to see the world. It's a good fit. Plus, I don't have to share the bathroom.

Your planned route goes through an ocean.
When the new moon comes in, we'll have proper tides. For a short time, that route can be driven across.
We will be the first to drive around the world. With the way we're importing water, we may be the only people to ever drive around the world.
Why follow a dangerous route? If we divert 70 km south, we could cross on a boat.
This is one of those human learning moments, isn't it?
Yes. Yes it is.
