Okay. Safer subject. I hope. Did you take Nickel's parts out of my robe pocket?
Yes, though I can't see him wanting his old legs back. His new set up is much faster. I'll ask him when I see him again.
Can you contact him on the net?
Already did. He replied “AAAAAHHHH!!!”
I thought he'd stop when he reached the coast, but he's already half way across the ocean. He really should have told me he was going to do that. I would have waterproofed the design.

Very often the folks on the forum come up with better jokes I ever could. The idea for Nickel's propulsion came from Comic1298. Fenrir posted “How comes no one has come up with the obvious solution? Attach the nuclear jet packs to the waffle irons, then attach the waffle irons to the sled, best of both worlds.” Then Star*fighter came up with the following drawing. No way I can top that. :) Star F1ghter has an art page at: Deviant Art.

I know! We'll set up a net to catch Nickel the next time he comes by! If he continues in a straight line, that will be in about forty hours.
Enough borax thrown into the intakes should shut down the nuclear jet packs.
And we can bait the trap with toasters, the waffle iron's natural enemy!
Half of me wants to see what you built. The other half doesn't want to be anyplace near it!

Boron, a component of borax, has a very high neutron absorption cross-section, so it is used to regulate and quench a nuclear reaction. (KALDYH)

So little time, so much to do! Got to go, Ms. Ambrose! Bye!
Good bye, Dvorak.
Pipe organ music. Qwerty said he was going to warm up a pipe organ. I bet it's one he and Dvorak built themselves. I should see him before I go.
It's basic politeness to say goodbye to a friend. And to make sure he's not playing an instrument that can go supercritical and take out half the space port.

I've already stopped figuring out what's being attributed down here
It's about robots appearing in strips -they're from other comics, movies, real life, etc. (Варг)

Ms. Ambrose! Come in! There's no need for an A.I. to sneak into this church!
Sorry. I was making sure services weren't going on. I didn't want to cause a disruption.
What kind of disruption would you have caused in a church full of robots?
DOGGY!
No problem. We would have just worked it in with our choir.

The 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge, a race between autonomous robots, was held on October 8 and 9th 2005 in the Mojave Desert along a route of 212.4 km (132.2 miles). The race was a follow-up to the DARPA Grand Challenge held in 2004. This race was won by Stanley with a course time of 6 hours 53 minutes

THAT'S THE PIPE ORGAN?
Yep. It's a replica of the pipe organ in the Riga cathedral on earth.
Hey! Qwerty! Would you be so kind as to play a little something for Ms. Ambrose?
Bach. Toccata and Fugue in d Minor.
You know, Make a Bowman's Wolf choir, each of us howling the right notes, and I bet we could sing this.

These? They're a combination power supply, book holder, and connection to the dream machines that robots need to integrate day memories into their neural nets.
Should a robot find itself without a place to rest and recharge, they know our doors are always open.
Though for some reason, Qwerty seems insufferably pleased that our fusion generator can recharge every robot here with less hydrogen than you'd find in two fishes and five loaves of bread.

Р-БОТ 001, By the way, I'd listen. She would have come out well with a wolf's howl.

Interesting clothes that you're wearing.
Thank you. I met some robot tailors. They made this.
One of them knew the history of the local neural net factory. I learned a lot from her. Including why the robots here are so different.
Come on, I'll tell you all about it.
If she really wanted me to pay attention, she wouldn't have gone up the stairs ahead of me wearing that dress.

I don't know which is worse. That she ran straight up my front, over my head, then straight down my back, or that she said “Excuse me.” before doing it.

Sorry for running you over, Mr. Post. Qwerty, that was a beautiful piece of music. Why were you hitting yourself? Is anyone going to throw the ball again?
If I accidentally harm a human, I must harm myself at least twice as much.
Define “harm”. If you turn down a loan applicant, have you harmed him?
Oh, definitely. Which is why I'm glad I don't work in the banking industry. Those robots' credit rating is shot.
