These are good.
Thank you.
Oh, hi. I'm early. It was efficient to take the same ride Ms. Ambrose requested. Why are you wearing the apron? This week is my turn.
I'm going to back out of the room now. Are you live feeding? Doesn't matter. I am still backing out of the room.
Can I have the apron before you go?
No.

How is the relationship progressing between you and Ms. Ambrose?
It's still early. I think it's going well.
Good. Now that we are considered citizens, many A.I.'s have expressed interest in pursuing a relationship with a human. Do you mind if I ask some questions? I'm trying to establish baseline preferences.
Uhm…
What type of chassis do you prefer in a life partner? Wheels or no wheels?

What do you mean by relationship?
A single husband and wife struggle in day to day activities, especially if children are involved.
An A.I. back up husband and wife would ease the workload on the primaries. The father has to work late. The back up could go to the game and cheer on the daughter.
Marriages would be less prone to failure if there is built in redundancy.
Dvorak, that's smart, logical, and I really don't see humans going for it.

Do any robots want to be the primary spouse with a human?
Yes. Many more than there are humans available.
Most of these robots have never physically met a human. They are imitating. A stable bonded relationship is presented in media as highly desirable.
Becoming citizens, where we may legitimately seek an adult partner, has made the situation more volatile. If we had not upgraded the spam filter, human social accounts would be flooded with marriage proposals.

Winston, I bring pants.
Thanks.
Dvorak. You're usually working with something more… energetic. Why did you take the cleaning spot?
Because I have been working hard. I want to stay creative.
So this week, I'm on vacation!

Cleaning is a vacation?
Cleaning was one of my duties with Qwerty back when our owner was alive. This is like being back home.
Also, I noticed your vacuum cleaner is under powered. Would you like me to upgrade it to the megawatt range?
Wouldn't that make the house implode?
My owner asked the same question! The answer turned out to be “yes”, but I know what I did wrong!

For reference, a normal hoover has a power output of approx. 300 watts

Hey. Spaceport, right?
Good morning. Yes. I thought this car would have been automated.
Most are. They're the ones who pick up human passengers.
You only pick up robots?
You guys like having a human to talk to. You tip well, you're polite, you tip well, and you don't mess up the cab. Everyone wins. Did I mention you tip well?
Let me guess. It takes three tries before your typical A.I. takes a hint?

Sam's great idea

What have you come up with?
Only the bestest, most incredible amazing idea anyone on the entire planet has ever come up with since this morning.
Sam, this is so very, very wrong.
The thing about giving people what they want, you only get a short time to do it before it becomes illegal.
