Boids

I'll be better able to order my thoughts after a good sleep. Then I need to write some letters. This is the last day the starship is accepting them.
Tomorrow, the Asimov will be on its way. If all goes well, it will be back with some answers in a little over a year.
I could send a message via the communication laser, but who wants light speed fast responses when it takes fifteen years to get a reply?

Hence, the Asimov is a hyperspace ship. 15 light speeds engine - quite a leap in science (Robot Spike)
Well, it did say that it slows down time. Which is even cooler overall. ^_^_^ (Жирафик Рафик)
Or maybe 15 years is a round trip? Then it's 7.5 times faster than light. But yeah, it's still cool. (Варг)
Flo's engineering nature would not allow a round trip comparison, so the ratio ~1:15 (Robot Spike)
I think it's simple: Flo obviously wanted to write a letter to Earth - 15 years for a parcel, but if you send a letter with Asimov to a hyperspace communication station (is that where she was supposed to go?) then the letter will be delivered instantly from there (just a question, why can't the letter be sent by laser to that station?).(Fogel) SPACEPORT
