The heat of the desert was merciless and Nala hasn`t seen any animal or any waterhole for days. The lioness almost gave up, but then she saw a green line at the horizont. «Could it be? Could it be that the desert ends there?», Nala thought. She knew that she hasn`t any different chance. She was too tired and powerless to turn back, so she used her last power to run in hoping that all the green at the horizont wouldn`t be just in her mind.
Soon she realized that the desert indeed ended and she reached a strange new landscape, she never has seen before. The plants were huge and rich green. The trees were much higher than in the savanna and the treetops almost didn`t let any sunshine through.
Nala doubted that she would find any lion there, but maybe something to eat and much more important something to drink.
