I read some medical papers on swallowing forks while writing this comic (RESEARCH) and it turns out the elderly swallow cutlery disproportionately often, so THAT'S something to look forward to. i also read a paper on a woman who ate a fly (what) and was trying to «scrape» the fly out with a fork (whatt) and while doing that accidentally swallowed the fork (whattt)
