Bloodfire: Mme Whiteeye Seeks Help
Ch'Thier is a deity of my own invention from a campaign I ran a few years back. She's the 'good' twin of a pair of sister gods who ruled over the land of Falania before a great cataclysm, when she and her evil sister came to blows and the balance of good vs. evil was in danger of tipping. So she had to force herself and her sister into an eternal slumber to remove themselves from the equation and trust the priests and priestesses to work it out for themselves, in the hopes that they would be able to restore it and revive them both safely… or destroy them for the sake of the world.
As the campaign proceded, the PCs began to learn that the good goddess wasn't SO good as her reputation suggested. And the evil goddess wasn't so totally nasty either. The blurring of the lines of good and evil seems to be a theme in my games and stories. Must be something I'm trying to work out in my head.
Her 'evil' twin sister was Ranna, who is referred to in strip #161 when Chimera sends Dewcup into the caverns after the Drow. Goat (To Lion): «Okay, wise-ass, how in Ranna's eyeballs do you know how to get around in there?»
