Nerf Now!! 1981
Angie is a trooper, taking one for the team, and since you guys picked fanservice you saved her from taking a pie in the face for punchline or something.
While the plot is moving slowly, I admit I'm enjoying writing it… art block been an issue lately so it's nice to have an easier time coming with ideas, but who knows how long this will last…
If anyone else had created Quiet there would been a huge shitstorm but since it was Kojima, it was just a moderately sized one. I wonder if Kojima will keep the tradition of sexy girls on his new home.

Binding of Isaac got a new expansion and I obviously had to give it a try.
The game got HARD, on top of being naturally dificult to begin. I know people who had 20+ victory streaks but for most people, it was a coin toss if you would beat it or not, such is the nature of roguelikes.
With the new expansion I feel the bullshit factor got up a notch and I went from always beating Mom's Heart to failing to reach it.
I think there are room in the world for all kind of games, from casual to hardcore, but when your game has a certain level of challenge and it changes with an expansion, I think it's bad.
Sometimes I think Isaac success was more luck than skill and Afterbirth is how the creators really wanted it to be, a grueling, hopeless experience, this is reflected on some questionable design choices like not showing what a item do until you pick it. Everybody who plays Isaac knows platinumgod.com so why not put the fucking information inside the game Edmund? I'm sure on his vision the player should know the items but in the end people just tab to check it.
I heard good things about Antibirth (a fan-made expansion) so I may give it a try…

My 2017 resolution was to be health so I been cranky and tired lately.
Also trying to improve the art but I've been on that rodeo before, so I expect much struggle for minimal returns.
Trying to unlock the D6 by beating Isaac with Bluebaby made me genuinely hate the game. I can safely say I'll never ever touch The Lost. Fuck that shit.
I've gave a peek on a Antibirth stream and while I can't say which has better gameplay, Antibirth has some nice stages. I really like the downpour tileset.
That's all for now, enjoy the strip while I'll enjoy the comfort of my bed. Cya!

Are you going to make a comic just to say you beat the Isaac with Bluebaby?
Of course I am, I know it's not that big of achievement but SHIT IS HARD OKAY?
Special thanks to Tech-X for sustained DPS during the whole run, White Pony for flight and Daddy Long Legs for cleaning the last stage.
Now I unlocked the D6 and I'll probably never touch Bluebaby again and no, I'm not trying The Lost either.

The original idea was to use one of the «dental floss» swinsuit of DoA but I was genuinely afraid this would flag my site as a porn site.I though in using this Dead or Alive costume instead but since it's just a DLC costume and Dead or Alive isn't the most popular fighting series around I decided to go with Ivy costume which is more videogame-y.
Other options were Fran (skipped to avoid confusion with the 2nd panel bunny suit), Angel from King of Fighter or the princess from Code of Princess. The princess is just too unknown (I had to google her name, Solange) and between Angel and Ivy, Ivy won because the outfit is more ridiculous and I hope, more recognizable.
Fanservice isn't easy bro.

I don't think Nintendo don't launch Metroid games because they are mean or vindictive. Companies want money and while I believe Metroid games sell well, they may not well enough.
Personally, I like Metroid more than, say, Zelda but I believe the swordman is more popular. Assuming your team has enough manpower to launch ONE game, which one Nintendo would pick? Even with Zelda out of the picture there is still Mario, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Brawl…
The Switch presentation was received positively and yet, no Metroid game was showcased or mentioned. I feel Samus is slowly joining the B-team or Nintendo IPs like Ice Climbers and Baloon Fighters.

Before Dota 2…
Before TF2…
Before Half-Life…
Before stone, sticks and the wheel…. there was RICOCHET.
Thou I hope someone ask about Half-Life 3, I mean, it's a tradition at this point. I personally believe IF HF3 will be released, it'll be an ambitious VR game which will either suck or propel the whole idea foward, and while I don't think Half-Life holds THAT much weight anymore, it's still a hype name.

This page was supposed to be easy but end up taking a while to make.
I totally lost Gaben AMA but looks like he didn't announce Half Life 3 or Ricochet 2 so I guess I did not lost any explosive news.
Was playing Megaman 3 and it's sad to see how the gameplay is dated those days. I'm not saying it's a bad game but it's very basic for today standard. I kind wish I could try my hand in making a modern version of it but we had Number 9 and we saw how it ended… still, it's a fun mental exercise to imagine what you could improve.
Thou if I had the man power to make a game I feel I'd just make a copy of Advance Wars with some new units and moe girls.

There is a little story behind this comic.
Originally, Brewmaster was groping Jane ass, this would pass the point of the job being more of an undesirable position.
However, while stuff like that (sadly) happen and is shown as a negative thing on the strip with Jane clearly not enjoying it, I feel it should not be portraited as a mere «job annoyance» so I changed it for him just being annoying. The joke may perhaps suffer a bit but I avoid being crass.
Depending of who you ask, I'm either growing soft or turning into an adult but any way, I'll still draw Jane in cute waitress outfit.
