Street Fighte V patch notes, at least for me, are very nebulous, there are dozens changes to each character, buffing and nerfing another dozen moves which makes knowing who is top or bottom in the end very nebulous.

After a big patch like that, the famed «tier lists» which suggest who are the best and worst character to pick are adjusted, but many times people will just parrot what a experienced pro player says or plays.

Personally, I find fun to give my 2 cents on the whole tier thing. Videogame isn't nuclear physics or ethics debates so it's okay to throw a (sometimes uniformed) opinion. It's nice to see your predictions are correct and if you are wrong you just switch mains and say you played Zangief since Street Fighter II.

While TF2 single stocking may look paltry compared with Overwatch five, the stocking actually contains 5 itemsm which I think are fixed (1 inventory expansion, 1 random item, 1 paint, 1 tag and 1 item gift)

Sure, Overwatch 5 also contains 4 each, totalling 20, but depending of your luck you may get 10 sprays, 5 voice lines, 3 common coins and 2 repeated Mei skins.

But I am not one to complain about free gifts, I think the gesture is nice be it legendary hat or repeated common.

From time to time I, like bed bugs coming out of woodwork to reproduce, my passion for fighting game is rekindled.

It's a fruitless event though since Ryus will zone me with barrage of shoryukens and Cammys will body me in the corner until I'm stunned and perfect me.

Maybe a more skilled reader is willing to coach me on the basics before my interest wanes and I'll go back to Dota which I also suck BUT at least I know why I am losing.

Looks like Street Fighter has no calibration matches, this means you are a complete newbie like me, you'll be put together with at the bottom with people at low rank BUT which may be fighting game veteran and just happened to bought the game now.

At least I got the basic techniques down, learned to activated V-triggers, invencible reversals and even had some fun with Chun-Li strong kick cross-up and yet this is not even scrapping the surface. Good thing Dota made me resistant to suffering and glutton for punishment otherwise I'd just play something else.

I can totally see why Blizzard put a no-finger / no brain hero like Mei? No skill? No problem! You can still turn a fight by pressing one button and looking at the general location of your enemy.

It's not the fact Dire shrines is a little lava basin which you can touch to recover yourself which bother me, I can deal with it being just a healing magic channeled by the ancient or something.

What bothers me is you can't refill your bottle there, even thou you can do it on your base fountain, and yet, putting glowing stones (read, runes) inside your bottle fills it with water.

I know, I know.. logic in videogames but c'mon, a shrine filled with water should work to fill your bottle! Maybe that was the original idea but Icefrog changed his mind for balance reasons.

Looking my backlog of games, I see I have yet to finish Quake 2, that's how far my backlog goes, thou to be honest I finished it when it was launched, I just tried to finish it again for reasons.

Unrelated, but I'll probably comission a sculpt of this.

If I could make one game, I'd like to make one like that… it's so chill and beautiful.

And no, I'm not being paid to talk about this game, I don't even know the devs, though I won't pass the chance for «sellout» for a game I enjoy.
