I may stop with the gold border thing, while I enjoy the novelty, I feel the black border just looks better.

I'm sure someone will see this has me trying to put a Splatoon vs Team Fortress thing so I'll go ahead and say it's about the girls claiming their turf back instead of a game X vs game Y thing.

I'd risk to say Splatoon may even be the best game right now but since i never played it I can't say for sure. However, I love how cohesive Splatoon is now and how everything fits, kinda like TF2 used to be. On the other side, I've heard about the bizarre decisions Nintendo make about how to handle multiplayer and no matter how cute a game may be, ease of use weights a lot to me.

The blast from the past was fun, but seeing the critics on the comment section shows why I stick to the new formula.

In the end, this is why we can't have nice things, like cute inklings.

Shovel Knight is a weird game, but think of it as Mario weird with wacky enemies, not Saint Rows weird with unicorn guns.

But Shovel Knight itself end up being the less weird guy in the game. Outside his weapon of choice the guy is pretty vanilla as chivalry goes.

Sure, most of the other knights are knights only in the name. Tinker Knight is just an engineer and Plague Knight is a plague doctor, so they are actually not that strange either outside their names but still, they choose to pose as knights which make them slightly more weird than our shoveler.

And eventually you'll meet Propeller Knight and goes waaaaaat? How this guy even works?

But hey, the guy looks happy (and oddly effective) so who I am to judge?

While I don't like the games Kojima makes, I believe he is good at what he does. It's a case of you hating fruitcake which with raisins finding a pâtissier who ONLY do fruitcakes with raisins. Thou those are fucking good fruitcakes.

Still, fruitcake shenanigans apart, Konami was beyond petty after they fried Kojima. We all know big corporations are greedy and souless but whatever hint of humanity is left at Konami they fueled it to annoy their ex-employee for reasons beyond my grasp. Someone there REALLY dislike Kojima there for reasons which remains a mystery to this day.

Every year I overdose on dota on group stages and get pretty full of it near the finals so this time I'll save my dota appetite for the later parts.

Sure, sometimes some of the best matches happen on the group stages but the stakes are higher on the finals which leads to more hype.

Plus I suffer less seeing C9 doing clowny things this way.
