Center of Attention

IT'S ONE THING to be unable to salute back to your fellow Diamond Dogs, but the way they walk up and salute you while you ignore them just makes me feel bad. Especially in a game where there's no pause button, so I walk away from the TV and come back to find that some guy has spent ten minutes saluting Big Boss while he stoically stares into space.

Sorry for the late update today, but I was stuck in an airport.

A Stone's Throw

Items that fall to the ground in Stardew Valley – wood and seeds from a felled tree, loot from a slain monster, et cetera – get sucked into your inventory/body by a powerful magnetic force. Items you intentionally drop also fall into this category, so I often find myself dropping garbage on the ground and then running away from it like a live grenade.

That's probably why your inventory has a trash can, allowing you to permanently delete an item on the spot, but what if I decide I actually really need a moist fistful of tree sap?

Animal Handler

Big Boss is bad enough about taking in wayward soldiers. I picture him as the kind of dude who would, in another life, have fifteen dogs and an injured possum he nursed back to health.

No Use Crying

The moral of Ghost Trick is that solving any type of puzzle or problem is easy, as long as someone is dead.

Maul Bearer

Perhaps an entire herd of donkeys would have been easier to manage.

Pine Treat

The only metric by which the townsfolk in Stardew Village seem to value gifts is whether or not they can put them in their idiot mouths.

Hound the Alarm

The scope of D-Dog's powers cannot be fully comprehended, even by D-Dog.

24-Hour Comic 2016

In a rare event, I left the apartment and did some exciting things during 24-Hour Comic Day! Unfortunately, I didn't document them very well, but what I DID do is take a nap on someone's else's couch. I will inform you that the pulled pork came out great.

Air Horse One

Horses are nervous animals afraid of just about everything, and I'm guessing that being whipped through the sky without warning is extremely high up that list. D-Horse is probably moments away from a heart attack at any given point in the day.

Wed

On October 15th, 2016, I married my best friend! It was pretty cool. I think I have probably mentioned him once or twice on this web site.

Last month also marked the tenth anniversary of Awkward Zombie. Thank you for reading my comic and enabling me to continue making it. In a way, are we not all comic-married to eachother??
