Meanwhile at Priderock. Zira indeed giving birth to a little daughter. But now Scar was thinking about what should be their future. Vitani and Kovu could make a good couple in their older age, only Nuka was left. In their pride there wasn`t any lioness at his age and Scar had to be honest that the neighbour kingdoms (the less ones who still stayed) were not very pleased with him and would never accept into a marriage between one of his cubs.
But there was still Kovu and Vitani. Vitani was a strong, healthy cub, so was Kovu. Together they could rule over the pridelands and Scar was still independent from the neighbour prides.
After a talk with Zira it was decided. Vitani would be queen one day and Kovu Scar`s male heir of the throne as her mate.
