Epic stated they don't want «crappy» (or adult) games on their store. I know Steam get some flack about their store being too cluttered with awful games
Having a fancier store which curates shovelware has it's an appeal. No more asset flips or shovelware which will appear every time you try to use the search feature.
Still, how'll they execute it? How will they sort all the games released every week? How many blo… dinners would you need to give to the right person to have your indie match-3 game featured on the front page of your curated store?
The only way I see them doing it is if they only allow AAA games or «indie» games from «small» companies like Devolver or Supergiant and any true indie game would need first to be popular on Steam before getting in.
Still, if people want someone to limit their choices for only the theoretically best games out there, it may be a good deal and I'm not being sarcastic here.

The vocal minorities today are like spoiled kid who needs their chocolate milk to be heated at precisely 83 degrees and will throw a tantrum if you don't put the right, unspecified, amount of sugar.
If the cause is worth is not the issue, but how small details, some NPC, some bit of text, some small faded poster on the background of a supply room, will totally ruin the whole experience if doesn't follow this or that narrative. Gameplay? Who cares right?
I think trying to appease those people is a fool's errand but what I know?

I gave a peek on Rainbow 6 Siege to expand my gaming horizons.
I've known the series for a while but it looked too tactical for me and after checking it this weekend… yep, it's too tactical for me. Remind me of a cross between Counter-Strike and ARMA, 2 games which I simply don't like.
Still, gameplay issue apart, I really like everything else. The operators, the map and how they crumble under the heavy firefight, the gadgets and how detailed they are. It's the best game I'll never play.
I'd totally give a try to a single player version of a game like that though, but I know better than trying the multiplayer version.

I think it's pretty clear at this point no matter what Sylvana do, the Horde will follow her. Many leaders would love to have such loyal subjects, specially when your everyday act aren't exactly nobles.
I know some Sylvanas fans will dislike the idea but I just want to see her be Garrosh'ed.

I don't think Hearthstone or WoW are «Fallout 76» levels of bad but both been running from a while and if you been playing since launch things do get stale.
I loved TF2 to death but at some point there was nothing else to do. I played all classes, all maps, all modes (hated CTF) got most of the achievements and even managed to dominated almost the whole server once.
At some point I got bored but the game cost me nothing so I could always jump back to see what's up and keep doing that for a long while. Now with Hearthstone (and WoW) thou. I need to pay, and pay quite a bit, to stay relevant on whatever the current meta is.
So that's the issue… it's not the game is awful, but it demand quite a bit of money for something which isn't giving back it's worth in fun. It isn't even like a P2W gacha game where money instantly translate into you being king of the hill. You'll still face thousand of F2P players who used all their F2P dust to craft the most cancerous deck possible and give you a hard time on ladder.
Still, I'll check the forums to see what the public is thinking on it and if the reception is positive I may give it a try but if it's another Witchwood, holy shit, I'm out.
