I stopped playing Halcyon 6. I don't like to talk trash about indie games but the game has some issues and it shows. Harder enemies seen to be triggered as you finish certain objectives so your reward for finishing a hard mission with a weak fleet is even harder enemies which you will DEFINITELY not be able to beat.
Decided to play Divinity Dragon Commander instead and I've been enjoying it so far. I can even marry a lizard or undead waifu, how cool is that?

When Mercy restored Genji, she could gave him a normal body but she went the extra mile and turned him a cyber ninja. I guess the idea was to make him able to do whatever he did before, but better.
So she won't be turning other people in cyberninjas… no, no, no… they would be cyber-SOMETHING else. Cybertanks, cyberwaifus or cyberBBQs if she even upgrades Roadhog.

I don't like Apple products. While they have quality, I think they are overpriced and have a «Apple way» or doing things which I dislike. Namely, their softwares have little customization options and many times they'll have some questionable design decisions which you NEED to adapt because like I said, little customization features.
Still, I can understand the appeal, if anything, for the smug satisfaction of showing off a pricey gadget.
Plus, while I dislike Apple customization options, or lack of it, I can't deny their softs usually looked pretty, even if this costed some ease of use sometimes.
And them they roll the new IOS chat features with animated emojis rescued from MySpace.
Is that what Apple users want? What next? Strawberry scented cases? Squeaky buttons?
I guess Steve Jobs was the glue who held Apple together, or perhaps a better comparision would be a sheperd who prevented his flock from jumping of a cliff.

I think the main advantage of Starcraft over Dota as an E-sport is the match lenght. On the current patch I hardly see a match go 1 hour long and this allow for a long series to go down quite fast.
This for me is one issue MOBAs will need to tackle sooner or later because a best of 5 with can theriocally last 5 hours is a big commitment.

No more No Man Sky strips people, I swear. I just felt I had to adress Morgan relationship with the game since she used to be super hyped about it.
Personally, I'd like NMS much more if instead of collecting fuel all the time, you had instead to upgrade your ship to be able to go deeper in the universe on the same way you upgrade your pickaxe on Minecraft to dig deeper.
I also think it would be nice if different planets had different gravity, and the PvE side was more than staring contests between you and the drones.
Still, I've already said too much about it, changing subjects… did you knew Star Citizen has a first person mode, complete with guns and all?
I'm not complaining, but isn't this game supposed to be about ships and space? How complex this game is going to be? By one side, the game could be HUGE if all pieces works together to make a super deep game… by other side, there are so much you can fit inside a single game before you lose focus.
I'm skepitcal, even more after No Man Sky but I'm hoping it all works in the end.

It's probably heresy to talk shit about Long War, which is seen to some as the TRUE XCom experience, but I disagree.
One of the main issues of the modern Xcom 1 was the lenght. Near the end of the game cleaning enemy ships was more of a chore than a challenge, but you could still be wiped if you alerted 2 enemy pods at once.
Long War raise it to eleven making the campaign even longer. I like Xcom a lot, but there is such a thing like too much of a good thing.
On a smaller basis, Long War crew did their best to remove any cheese from the game, which is another way to say you have a specific way to play the battles. Personally, I think finding and exploiting AI flaws part of the fun of strategy games, but it's just me.
Even fans of Long War will praise it saying it's long, hard and wearing. I'm not fan of the casual mindless games, but I prefer it to a test of patience.
This said, Long War has options to make it more friendly, like «Not-so-Long-War» and «Friendly Skies» which make the whole thing far more enjoyable so there is that.

Hearthstone for me is the best example I can give of why I play indie games.
Blizzard want a slice of the casual market, and by casual I am not talking about the guy who play PyroShark on 2Fort, I'm talking about your uncle or your granny, who saw the Hearthstone app on the Google Store recommended list and clicked on it.
I have this hunch those persons, not me, are Blizzard main public, simply because there are more of them.
Team 5 is skilled enough to put a basic framework and production value for gamers to still be interested but their main focus is to keep the non-gamers hooked, and if this means not balancing the game because the casuals would be confused and light themselves on fire, so be it.

Know what I find more strage on this tournament? Despite being played on a cruise ship with a personal satellite, the prize is just 50.000 USD.
It looks like someone just wanted some vacation and decided to run a tournament on a cruise so he could enjoy it.
This is my «being nice» thoery, because I don't want to straight up say this is all an elaborate way to laundry some money.
