Nerf Now!! 2531
Outward is like Skyrim if Skyrim had no horse, no fast travel, no health regeneration, and drinking river water gave you indigestion.
I can accept the more realistic take on the fantasy life, needing to manage hunger, thirst, and fatigue. It makes for an interesting, more realistic take on adventuring and create some interesting situations where you start avoid combat because the benefit is low; enemies drop little of value and give no XP and the risk is high as any lost health isn't easy to regenerate.
However, walking was definitely NOT fun.
They could find some in-game solution… caravans to carry you from city A to city B, mounts, magic gateways, whatever. Walking is slow and tedious and basically how the game punishes you from dying because you may respawn far away from your objective.
It's a game which shows the negative sides of an indie game. If this was an AAA title probably someone would have pointed the walking was a bother but being a small project they all went on the idea of going for realism was a nice idea.
But hey, if you can tolerate holding the sprint button for long stretchs of time while avoiding combat this is the game for you!

I could write a looong rant about the whole Epic stuff but I don't want to rustle any Epic fans out there. At this point, everybody already picked their side and I doubt anyone will list to reason.
I'll just say if Epic is using underhanded tactics to get his market share, I expect the same behavior when treating us, their consumers.
I hope I'm making sense here.

I could go on this forever but it's time to move on about Hearthstone misadventures.
This said I think HS is on a rough spot right now. As a long time player, I think the issue here is simple, while the game may have new cards there aren't new mechanics and card game players are not like PUBG where a new assault rifle is considered new content. Releasing a 4/5 Furry Yeti with the Beast tag may be a new card and open new deck building possibilities but it's not a new mechanic and you'll deal with it as you deal with any other Yeti.
My very personal opinion here… I think would be cool if there were cards which affected the board itself, call it «Field Effects» and would buff (or debuff) creatures. Perhaps make it occupy part of your own field so the more effects you have, the less creatures you have to benefit from it.

I been pretty bummed by how little I've been enjoying most games to a point I was thinking maybe the problem is on me, maybe I should move on and do gardening or kickboxing, I don't know.
Than I played Katana Zero and that old joy come back, that was gaming like I used to play, hell, BETTER than it used to be.
I could spend paragraphs praising the combat, the visuals, the story (surpringly good!) and etc but I think the Steam page speak by itself.
I can't praise this game enough and you all should play it and if you don't like it you have bad taste and should be ashamed of yourself.
To not give only praises, the pixel art style isn't for everyone. I know some people don't like it and it's fine. It's like black and white movies I guess… some people just don't like it, me included.
Some people praised the music but it didn't do it for me.
I enjoyed the story but it's very violent and kinda confusing. I can see some people prefering a simpler story or something more tame.
Anyway, game of the year of all years, 10/0 would stop time and drink herbal team with pigtal kid.
