Nerf Now!! 1961
Never underestimate how slow a story moves… just to make this small change of having the girls working in a bar it taking almost a week.
Almost make me want to just have Angie get drunk one day and go «let's open a bar» or something silly to move the story faster but I think this little exposition may pay off later.
On gaming related news I almost want to put Sacriicial Pact on my Warlock deck to be able to beat the damn Warlocks. I win most match ups but the mirror…

I almost made a comic about the new Dota patch, but I feel you guys would eat me alive if I delayed the conclusion of this arc.
Still, the Dota world got turned upside down. That's the kind of change you can only make if your game has super solid foundations and while lots of stuff changed, the game feels incredibly familiar.
Imagine TF2 vanilla and suddenly Valve added 6 weapons to every classes , plus new maps and some balance changes, that's basically what happened to dota.
I may even give it a try, though to be honest the community is still probably the same and more importantly, the time commitment is still a huge issue for me.
Still, if you wanted to go back to Dota, there is no better moment than now.
Nerf Now!! 1963
Experience show I can't just make a month long arc on Nerf NOW!! without the viewership suffering so I'll move the plot at a steady pace.
But to be even more honest, I'll interested in the Dota changes. I may not do ranked but I'll at least try some Overthrow, maybe even some bot matches…
I feel my Overwatch passion lessened a bit. I'm not good enough to reach high ranks and the matches are sometimes very one-sided stomps which are not fun. Still, been a while since we had a new map or new hero… Sombra doesn't count since she sucks.
At least I finished Rabi Ribi… I'm done with rabbits for a while now.

I need to stop trying to climb Hearthstone, I only get mad because I lose and end up trying to recover my losses which bring more losses and I end up updating the comic late.
New Dota is fine, but I think you can only reach the full Dota potential in a group. The game may be fun solo, but depends a lot of having good teammates and by good I don't mean skilled but not ragers.
I should played the previous Shantae before the new one was released because now I feel I need to play both whcih means I may not play either. Such is the curse of the backlog.

People are all excited about Rogue One but I just can't get overly excited about Star Wars. I'll probably still watch it though because it's relevant enough for me to just ignore.
But since it's a spin-off it may surprise me. One-shots sometimes have more freedom which may lead to better movies.
And for those who don't know, I don't think there is anything specially bad with Star Wars, I just prefer something less family friendly. More Game of Thrones, less Lord of the Rings if you catch my drift.
Nerf Now!! 1967
I watched Rogue One and is probably my favorite Star Wars movie of all time.
Mind you, I am not a Star Wars fanboy so I watch the movie as they are, with no special attachment for the world and characters. The Milenium Falcon zipping around will not give me orgasm just because it's the Milenium Falcon for example.
Slightly Spoilers ahead.
What I enjoyed more on this movie is, first, it's a complete story. After so many open ended Star Wars movies, it's nice to get one which ends when the creditls roll.
But more important, the ammount of plot armor on this movie was reasonably low. It's still Hollywood standard but at least it was not 4 people diving head-first on the enemy headquarters hoping everybody will be looking to the other side. The guys had a plan, and execute the plan in a way to give them the best chance of success.
I found the Rogue One crew charismatic. No tsundere girl or scared-face ex-Stormtrooper. I wanted to give Heavy Plasma Guy a sandvich, but mostly to make this joke here.
The way it links with Eps IV is VERY nice and may make people watch it again with a renewed interested.
I'd say if you like Star Wars, go watch it, but I'm not a fan so what I know?

Been playing a bit of Shantae Pirate's Curse before trying 1/2 Genie. The game is nice but I think Castlevania, Metroid and Mario are better platformers. The main challenge of the game is finding where to go instead of getting there.
At least there is fanservice and sometimes, some pretty dark humor.
Nerf Now!! 1969
Originally I had this comic with TentaJo instead of Angie, and Wiston instead of Bastion but the let say the story made enough sense to leap beyond a joke and started making the shape of something someone may actually put on fanfiction.net so I decided to play it safe and pick a pairing I hope nobody would ever create.
Almost went with Tobjorn but Angie picking Bastion as an suitor would makes more sense… assuming there is any logic behind this.
Outside that, I'm disappointed with Tracer picking some random girl because it's not someone from the cast. I'd be happy with anyone, boy or girl, as long as it's from the current cast of characters.
But hey, Windrunner needs some love too since Valve don't give her any.
Nerf Now!! 1970
I decided to run Pirate's Curse before going to 1/2 Genie Hero because I felt if I played the newest version I would never go back.
The game is… fine. Art is nice as always but the gameplay was too easy to hold my attention. Mind you, I think I had to design a game I'd rather make it too easy than too hard because a player can up the challenge by skipping upgrades and stuff but if the game is too hard it will instantly cut out some players of enjoying it.
Pirate's Curse is half easy, half backtracking around old maps looking for some key item to move foward on later maps, which can be specially annoying if you are trying to collect all Dark Magic for the true ending. Personally, I just finished the game and watched the video for the good ending on youtube because I am not bumping every corner of the map to find secret rooms.
However, for me the biggest flaw is the difficult spike near the end of the game. I can totally see a less skilled played managing to reach the last section of the game and not be able to cross the halls of spike and death which are the last section. They are far harder than anything else in the game, like someone insulted the level designer skill, family and religion all at once and he decided to not make a level, but to make a point.
However is skilled enough to cross it easily probably dropped the game due to boredom, and however was enjoying the game easier setting will find a roadblock.
To top it all, you can easily skip the whole tower segment by using a small jumping exploit. I reached the top of the tower with the exploit and them jumped down to finish it legit, because that tower was actually the part of the game I enjoyed more.
