Not all ultimates in Overwatch are created equal, this is reflect in how some ultis take more or less time to charge them others.
Wiston ultimate never scares me though. It's somehow disruptive but «being annoying» is hardly a hallmark. Yes, he can kill people with it… eventually… if the enemy has no healing… or escape… or a way to fight back…
But more important than a low damage output (he is a tank after all) it's all quickly he dies. A discord orb plus Roadhog hook combo it's sometimes all it takes for you to be almost dead. I never feel really tanky with Wiston unless I'm fighting a bunch of Lucios.
Not saying it should be buffed or not, it's just the difference between the presentation of the ulti and it's actual impact is a bit underwhelming.

There was a new mini-patch in Dota 2 yesterday and suddenly.. there isn't. Valve rolled back the patch, so I assume there were some nasty bugs inside it because usually Valve just launch a new patch to fix the problem, or hotfix the servers.
But don't worry, the sky isn't falling. I still think Valve keep his game more up-to-date them most.
If you bought Street Fighter V you know what I'm talking about… maybe I'll make a full Capcom rant tomorrow…

Spells like Forbidden Shaping always disappoint me. If you exclude poorly stated creatures, or creatures which main value are their battlecry, Forbidden Shaping is super meh. Sometimes you may get a Deathwing or Ysera from it but more often than not you end up with a 3/3 Faceless Summoner after paying 5.
Fun (?) fact, originally this comic featured Valeera.

Neeb won Kespa Cup, turning into the first american (and foreigner for the matter) to win a Starcraft 2 korean tournament.
Now, I've seen all kind of theories about why he did it, from an easy bracket which gave him favorable match ups while dodging Terrans to koreans fading interest in Starcraft 2 in favor of Overwatch.
Maybe it's true, maybe not, but a win is a win and in the end Neeb was clearly the better player with a clean 4-0 sweep.
Grats Neeb.

For all the hassle which is acquiring Tyrande skin (or any Hearthstone skin for the matter) the final product isn't that impressive.
It's an (almost) static image and 10-something voice lines. That's it. I think Starcraft units have more voice lines and Overwatch heroes can't take a turn without saying something about the scenery, the enemy or their allies.
You could have voices for doing a big hit, or meeting ANY legendary, or even interacting with the scenery. The possibilities are there but I don't tihnk the interest is.
Has Zarya would say «I think you can do better than that»

Symmetra may suck at offense, but her NBA skills are unmatched.
I believe I'm a lucky person who do what he loves and been given a lot from friends and fans so I decided to give a bit back by donating monhtly to Doctors Without Borders. The best part is money I spend which don't add to my backlog. A win-win situation!

Overwatch player quality kinda dips on the weekend. Not talking about skill, but about tilted, raging people who get mad at pretty much anything.
I thinkk 1/3 of my games had a leaver, sometimes on my team, sometimes on the enemy team. At least on Dota you have a report system which works, on Overwatch only god knows what it takes for someone to be banned from competitive and he can still play Quick Play, which honestly I don't recommend.

If you don't follow Dota 2 pro scene this comic will probably be lost to you.
However, if you DO follow it, or simply like drama, you may get a chuckle of it.
Assuming all Eternal Envy said is true… hell, if 1/3 of it is true, Secret situation was pretty shitty.
I guess the lesson here is to have everything on paper, with a laywer help if possible. If you are a teen or a young man it may sound like you are being paranoid or rude by not trusting others but sadly, it's how the adult world works.

October is probably the funniest month for gaming, with so many games doing their halloween specials.
Overwatch halloween special is pretty cool. Hollywood got a speical night reskin and the new Brawl is actually fun, instead of being just a normal match with class restrictions.
The brawl plays pretty much like TF2's Mann vs Machine, expect shorter but with a higher production value. I'd say Mann vs Machine is superior gameplay wise, but Overwatch one is more charming, with more production value. You want to play it at least once for sure.
The new skins are nice but I'm the kind of person who only change skins when I find one I like, instead of pickng a new one because it's new. I admit I'm tempted to buy Junkestein skin, but I'm saving it for the day Mei will get a nice one.
The event is nice and all, but what we all really want is the new hero. There is so much you can play the same maps with the same 2-2-2 composition until it get stale.
