This is based on real facts, I started doing far better on Hearthstone after I started using Heartharena Companion App.
They don't promote me, but I'm still cool enough to link it for free.
On Dota related news, EG is doing better than I expected but Secret is doing worse so I guess it's even out?
While OG is my favorite to win the whole thing, I forgot MVP is probably my favorite to watch, those crazy koreans and just fun to watch.

While the International is nice and all, the group stage format is usually low on tension because no one can be sent home yet. Only near the end when some teams are struggling to avoid the lower brackets we have some build up tension.
The last day of the group stage is when we start seeing some storylines. If you are the kind of person who likes to watch car crashed and train wrecks look no further than Secret games has they slowly fumble their way to the lower bracket. S A D B O Y S.
Alliance had some clutch battles, managing some last minute much needed victories to avoid the lower bracket but still, barely managing to do it doesn't build up confidence.
I think everybody is surprised with EHOME, they are a Wildcard (aka, last to qualify) team and yet they are top of their group. What the fuck are those chinese boys eating???
So far, both teams I'm cheering (OG and MVP) are on the winners. A surprise since whoever I put my eyes crash and burn like a moth into a jet engine.

AM2R was a fan project to remake Metroid 2 Return of Samus from the Gameboy.
Let me start this by saying Nintendo has the rights to close this project. Sad, but true, but keep reading…
Nintendo is a company, and those entities live to generate revenue. Nintendo is even lauching a remake of the old NES with 20 games bundles so there is obviously a market for nostalgia. By allowing this project to exist they may be losing some revenue down the road because you can download it for free and honestly, this version looks and plays better than the original.
This said…
I ponder if any small profit Nintendo could make by selling Metroid 2 on the virtual console pays any negative fan feedback they'll get. Gamers are quick to anger and it''s usually better to work with your community than against it.
Even if you don't believe in working with your fans, the game would still be some nice advertisement for a franchise which been out of the radar for a while now.
Poor Samus, can't take a break…

WHAT YOU MEAN THE MASTER RACE ISN'T FIRST TO PLAY NO MAN SKY, WHAT IS THIS TRAVESTY??
THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!!
At least we have the International going to distract me while I wait for its release.
By the way, I think nobody expect OG to leave so early, and specially to be defeated by Pinoys being lead by Demon. That's some cinderella story right there.

Everybody were going nuts about Purify but I think the Menagerie Warden will be the real problem.
A bad card, or even a bad class, can be avoided, a trap for those unware to recognize it's flaw Something OP, however, will be abused and mold the metagame around it.
I don't know if Druid has all the tools to consistently curve out a 5 drop into the Warden, but if he does, it's pretty much GG at this point. A Call Of The Wild which come 2 turns earlier.
Still, Purify got the limelight. I said it once and I'll say it again, I much prefer 8 balanced classes and 1 shitty one than 1 Op class towering above the rest.

My 1st planet on No Man Sky was an acid Planet which made me super nervous because I had to learn the basics of the game while having my hazard bar constantly depleted.
I named it Jane because both were a pain in the ass. :P
Outside that, I both enjoyed and disliked No Man Sky. The core idea is good, but I dread inventory management and grinding… if the situation won't improve later I may simply play other games.
Not saying the game is bad. I don't think I've been scammed like some but I also wish more variety on the gameplay and planets. Mind you, I'm the kind of person who could never get too much into Minecraft because fuck digging for diamonds.
The game gave me 2 comics already, which is more than I can say from many other games…

The universe of No Man Sky is nothing but uncharted.
I think every planet (and moon!) I visited had some shelter or factory, hinting an alien species already visited the place, this when you don't find aliens hanging inside buildings or flying around.
Imagine you going to Europe, stepping on London and naming the place Rainalot, that's basically what you do there.
More curious, your character has no previous knowledge of the alien languages, even thou there is a whole galactic trade network with universal (literally) currency and standardized ships. Note not knowing the language doesn't prevent you from buying and selling ship, proving money is truly the universal language.
Ah, for those curious, I played several hours of No Man Sky and it was interesting, but the novelty fades eventually and what you are left with is some barebones gameplay and repetitive planets.
The planets, while visually different, PLAY the same… you find yourself doing the same thing with a different background.
The tech is impressive, and it was fun while it lasted, but there is too much grind and too little inventory space for me to bother.

Blizzard hinted on its Twitter they are changing the Hydralisk. The dreamer on me would like to see a revamp of the unit, but the realistic Jo expect just some number tweaks like armor or HP, maaaaybe not requiring a Lair to make a Hydralisk Den.
When i started playing Starcraft, I used to think Hydras were OP. You mean I can have marines with more HP and damage? I'm going to win any firefight with those babies.
Mind you, this was before Broodwar which made Marine + Medics which were far more scary than Hydras.
Anyway, power failure on my street, gotta go, bye!
