Someone suggested in the comments about giving me some indie games to play so I focus on more games here on Nerf NOW!!

Outside writing about popular games being flat out more lucrative; they are linked more because more people play them, making a joke about an unknown game may flop, hard.

When I played Dungeon of the Endless, there was a mechanic which made enemies pop from dark, unpowered rooms. Since the game has cameos from the TF2 mercs I really wanted to make a joke about it. Something about leaving Pyro behind and being slowly surrounded by more and more monsters while blissifully unaware of his inpending doom.

However, people who didn't play the game would not understand why nasty creatures are appearing from dark rooms. I would need to explain the mechanic, and then tell the joke… all of this in 3 or 4 panels. Sometimes this is possible, but usually is not, and in the end I'm still making a joke about a game which less people played. However, if you played the game, the dread of being near a dark room is intense. People relate to it, and this is very important for good jokes, like being on fire and dying near a health pack on TF2.

A popular game is played by more people, making it both easier to write about and more profitable, plus since the game is popular it means more people play the damn thing so they'll relate to the joke more.

If there is an unknown game I like a lot I may make a joke about it, be it because I like the characters, found an amazing joke or just because I want to support it, but doesn't change the fact working with AAA titles is better for the reasons I stated above.

Let's be serious here, we all know Half-Life 3 IS the eternal reward. Nobody will play it before the end.

And about the Warcraft movie trailer… the trailer is nice but the less you know about the classic Warcraft lore, more you' ll enjoy it.

I guess most people are excited about Fallout 4 but I'm part of the «wait and see» team. I picked Starcraft Legacy of the Void instead.

I'm fan of Fallout 1 and 2, but 3 is… let me just not go there. I bashed Fallout 3 enough in the past. If Fallout 4 is better, specially in the graphics and combat, I'd gladly play it.

I won't be playing SC2 on the ladder but I want to see how the campaing end thou to be honest I think Kerrigan is a bitch and Raynor is her dog, if they all die in the end it will be a GG.

The 1st mision of the Protoss is basically a tutorial of how to attack move.

Still fun though.

Legacy of the Void is pretty cool, I really like the fluff thing of talking with all the NPCs and customizing your ship and troops, and the cinematics are really good.

I feel if you don't like RTS games, but like a sci-fi space opera just play it on easy and enjoy the fireworks. I'm playing it on normal and having a blast thou it's being kind of a cake walk for a veteran like me.

Or just play Fallout 4 like every other soul in the planet.

Time to watch some good dota!

I've never seen a game to generate rage like Dota and League of Legends.

Some people, however, start raging as soon as they launch the game. Maybe those special beings live in a state of perpetual fury, some kind of digital Hulk who is always angry.

Now pick 5 of those players, group them and match them against 5 other raging players… it's hell in digital form, and the only way to escape it is to hope your team will behave slightly less badly than the enemy team.

Still, I can't stop but smile to the idea of a raging feeder being paired with a similar player. Maybe they'l fight to see who will feed first and collect more player insults?

Low priority is truly a nasty place.

The Majors are going strong and it's hard to not feel EG is the favorite there. I won't be surprised if they win yet another major tournament.

But this make up for an even more interesting story if some underdog like the peruvians Team Unknown manage to down the giant.

I won't be betting my rares on it thou, but I play safe and like my rares. I guess the payout there would be insane if Unknown managed to pull it.

If Linkle end up a playable character, this means Zelda could be a guy and Ganondorf would be a girl?

Well, not really, but this would make the pseudo-romance between Zelda and Link very interesting.

Any way, I won't mind Linkle instead of Link. She has a cute design and I like cute. And we have different Links every game anyway, sometimes multiple Links too.

Anything but Tingle.
