Yeah, but what about Pokemon Stars? I didn't ask for this!
This week The Pokemon Company addressed upcoming games via a special Pokemon Direct:
While common sense would say don't get too excited about personal predictions, many were disappointed to find that the announcement of Pokken Tournament DX and Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon was not the rumored Pokemon Stars.

Return Call
Reggie calls for the return of one of Nintendo's finest. Samus faces her greatest challenge yet. This year – as I do every year – I produced an E3 bingo sheet.
While I laughed about how 'NO NEW METROID' may as well be 'FREE SPACE', Nintendo laughed back.
And not just with one, but two….
…New Metroid titles! Nintendo dun double Metroid'd me! To catch up on Samus's sad, sad life without employment, here's the complete catalog of comics I've drawn about her since 2011:

Spidey-Senses
Spider-Man, Spider-Man, modern action game Spider-Man. «Open world», «quick time» galore, exclusively on PS4!
One of Sony's more interesting showings for E3 was their upcoming Spider-Man title developed by Insomniac Games.
Like most of Sony's E3 showing, you might recognize this as the reheated leftovers from last year's conference. I just really hope this ends up being a game where you actually do things, as opposed to push buttons when prompted and watch Spider-Man flip around on his own.

Classic Complaint
The SNES Classic is going to be one sweet package! What's not to like?
This week Nintendo officially announced the rumored SNES Classic Edition. Featuring 21 games and two controllers, this was honestly something I didn't think Nintendo would bundle together. Hopefully this time around you'll actually be able to find one on store shelves

Yoshi: Man's Best Friend
There's no creature more loyal to man than the noble Yoshi.
One of Super Mario Odyssey's reveals at E3 was that with the help of Cappy Mario can capture the bodies various creatures and ememies to use their powers. Not only does this include the realistic people milling around New Donk City, but also a completely new creature:
So if Mario can live in the same world as a giant semi-realistic T-rex…what does that make Yoshi?!

Full Theatrical Experience
There's nothing quite like getting to see a new movie on the big screen.
Me and my bud Yale actually had a conversation about this before a trip to see Spider-Man Homecoming early became an inadvertant trip to see Edgar Wright's Baby Driver. And people came into the theater 30 minutes in, talking at full conversation volume! Thankfully my Tuesday viewing of Spider-Man was free of disturbances. No clapping, no «WOO!»-ing, no people very loudly pointing out things that should be obvious to the audiences.
