Some of us think you're doing a real good job, Kylo Ren.

Black Desert Online's character creator allows you to make some amazing things. Truly amazing things…

Before I say anything, those first two panels are not satire.

Taco Bell has a real commercial where the guy from Ancient Aliens holds up a green brick – presumably because the item would be edited in 'in post' – then informs viewers when and where they can preorder said mystery item.

Detective? Should have got a better peek at you…

Two weeks ago the Pokemon Company officially announced a bizzare new game we'd only briefly heard about two years prior.

I actually wrote down the idea and had the comic ready for last week – but by mid week I saw a Taco Bell stunt that was too perfect to pass up. So Detective Pikachu had to wait an extra week to run. Since then we've learned that even though Pikachu speaks in the trailer, only his partner Tim can understand it.

This week's comic is greatly improved if you're reading with a certain voice in mind.

Happy (belated) Valentine's Day, from a VERY mainstream superhero.

I'm glad to see Deadpool was such a success! Especially for Ryan Reynolds, who has been genuinely invested in getting this movie to happen. I'm less excited for Fox, who made a boatload of money off this record-breaking blockbuster while fighting every step of the way to make sure it couldn't happen.

A long, long time ago I made a couple jokes about a certain superhero.

Oh, this might be considered required reading, too.

After joking about how mainstream Deadpool totally wasn't it only seemed fair that I'd do another comic now that he's a bona fide household name

The inner workings of Amazon's shipping warehouse are a true mystery to all.

Actually, this might be a large roadblock. A really, really large roadblock.

Bandai actually has announced a very large Snorlax plush. At nearly 5 feet tall, it's not actually life size but it is absolutely huge. Of course, it also costs the equivelant of $450 and is exclusive to Bandai Japan's online webshop. So maybe it's best to take a cue from Snorlax and keep this one in your dreams.

J.J., you can tell us the Cloverfield monster isn't in the movie all you want – we've grown wise to your trickery. It's pretty clear what this movie is //really// going to be about.

Of course, by the time this comic is up, many of you will have actually seen 10 Cloverfield Lane!

For readers in the Chicago area – or who are planning on being in Chicago next weekend – I will be there, too! The 18th through 20th is C2E2, ReedPop's annual Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo! If you're interested in buying a print, observing me in my natural state (surrounded by art supplies and comic stuff) or just want to say «hi», you'll be able to find me all three days at Booth E8!

This joke belongs in a museum.

This week Disney announced Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford would be making a fifth Indiana Jones, set for release in 2019. At which point I'm pretty sure we'll have to put Harrison Ford in a museum.

Do you like comics? Do you like entertainment expos? Are you in the Chicago area? Good news! C2E2 is going on right now! And I'm there! Drawing things, signing things, talking to you about how your costume is cool (probably. I'm writing this before it all happens.) So come see me at booth E8!

They say the showfloor is so big, last year some people got lost and are still lost to this day…

Funko Pop! figures really dominate conventions, comic book stores and other places you would by traditionally «nerdy» collectibles.. It really hit me this year at C2E2 just how many booths are wall upon wall of Pops. I personally prefer collecting toys with more articulation and a more realistic likeness, but I can see why they dominate. Even the people who hate them tend to say «I hate all of them…except for [ franchise or character].» If it exists, they make a toy of it. And somewhere a collector appreciates that.
