A Passion For Fashion

Every Pokemon generation introduces a stupid not-fighting minigame thing: Pokemon Contests, Super Pokemon Contests, Pokeathlons and now Pokemon Musicals. It all seems really pointless, but then they give you a top hat and suddenly I can't stop dressing my Pokes up like morons.

Occam's Laser

So okay Portal 2 is really fun! Like really really fun. Like «I have not laughed this hard at a videogame since ever in my life» fun. The writing especially is phenomenal and is in all likeliness the best I've ever heard in the medium. And also, Wheatley is my favorite character ever and Stephen Merchant makes an awesome voice actor. ANYWAY

I'm a little bit sad because this was a situation I kept falling into while playing, but it doesn't really translate into a comic very well. There are a lot of new toys in Portal 2, and the ways in which you must BEND YOUR MIND to wrap around them sometimes make you forget that you are holding a gun that shoots portals.

Also I drew that door really tiny by accident. Something about Source games make me think all the doors are really small! I DON'T EVEN.

The last time it was necessary to go through a Pokemon graveyard, all the people in there you could fight attacked you because they were psychics possessed by ghosts. Celestial Tower is kind of different, because the trainers inside are mostly just regular people. Which means they were in the Pokemon graveyard for regular people reasons. You are picking fights with them as they are mourning their dead companions.

OHHHH NOOOOO PORTAL 2 SPOILERS OHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Anyway! Kind of not happy with this one. A lot of times when I'm doing a situational comic I'll rip text directly from the game, but Portal 2 is so funny that it just felt like cheating. I don't want to just paste their jokes in there but it's pretty necessary for context, and it would be impossible for me to rewrite that bit of monolog without totally ruining it. SCREW YOU FOR BEING FUNNIER THAN I COULD EVER HOPE TO BE, VALVE.
