I'd read it

Sometimes I write things in passing that I'd actually like to make — magical girl anime for example — or Goth Force Metro: Black for that matter.

I can them in my head.

In other news, you may notice that some things are missing on the site – all the old archives for example. Let's talk about that!

The old Catena Manor archives have been pulled as we move on to concentrate on Catena Cafe. We really only want our most recent work to be widely visible and by now we hope fans have read all the back archives anyway.

If you missed reading through the old Catena Manor somehow or you're feeling really nostalgic you can put a buck or three in our Patreon to get access again. It will take about ten days for me to get the archives set back up for patrons (ETA: May 28). I'm doing this so that our existing patrons won't feel cheated out of content they had access to when they originally signed up, but it also gives people a chance to read the archives while still allowing me to remove them from the web at large. Please note that even if we didn't have a Patreon I still would have removed the archives. The big motivator was getting old art off the web so our new professional clients aren't casually viewing things we did 10 years ago!

The fan art gallery (that was broken) is also gone. It was difficult to use and maintain and the plugin finally broke somehow so I took it down. I fully encourage any artists out there to get an online gallery space somewhere (there are many free ones – eg: Deviantart) and send us links to your fan art instead. I will highlight the links as fan art comes in.

Speaking of links, the “links” page is also gone. Many of the links were down and we lost contact with a lot of the authors along the way so rather than having a page with content that didn't work I took it down. If you have a cool comic you'd like for me to highlight in the blog sometime please send me the link! I'd much rather handle it that way than maintain a big list of links and banners.

This weekend I will be making further changes to the site (improvements!) that will help me do a wide variety of things, not the least of which is moving to a better version of the plugin that powers this entire site. That's the other reason for all the shake-up. I want the site to be as clean and vanilla as possible to help the change over work.
