Képzeljünk el egy olyan anyagot, amely nem képes áthatolni sem tömegen, sem energián, és nincs saját tömege vagy energiája, és hogy van egy egy köbméteres dobozunk, amely ebből az anyagból készült.

Távolítson el minden tömeget és energiát a doboz belsejéből. A belső oldalon minden pont érintkezik. Nem azért, mert normálisan érintkeznek, hanem azért, mert a dobozon belül nem maradt semmi, ami meghatározhatná a téridőt.
