I'll take care of breakfast. My owner's mom was from Italy. She wanted her daughter to be able to cook the old fashioned way, no microwaves or mixes.

Daughter? She considered you family?

Absolutely. And while I use the term “owner” to avoid confusion, Scott always considered me to be his little sister.

That can't have worked out well.

He did have some problems. Mainly his friends who had little sisters that weren't talking wolves kept wanting to trade.
