I think it's simple: Flo obviously wanted to write a letter to Earth - 15 years for a parcel, but if you send a letter with Asimov to a hyperspace communication station (is that where she was supposed to go?) then the letter will be delivered instantly from there (just a question, why can't the letter be sent by laser to that station?).([[user>Fogel]])
