At least once a month my street is hit by a power failure.

Sometimes it hit me just as I ended uploading a page.

Sometimes, like today, it hits when I'm about to start drawing one.

When I started playing Dota 2 Crystal Maiden was very weak. She had a place on pro games but on pubs, where there is a lack of coordination and games tend to drag she find herself undergeared, underleved and without an end game.

Theorically, a Black King Bar / Scepter / Blink Crystal Maiden can turn a fight but realistically, where will she find the farm?

Basically, playing CM is hard and risky. Yes, it can work. At this point I think all heroes are viable but I never do well with her even though I have a positiive score. I always feel my biggest contribution for the team was the aura because I surely wasn't getting kills.

Medusa on the other side, the hero just works for me. It's tanky which helps lack of judgment and do well on lane with Mystic Snake, plus she can turn a teamfight with her ultimate. Plus, she is very strong late game which many times forces the enemy team to deal with you. Any hero who forces the enemy to do something is good in my book.

Basically, low risk, high reward hero who is strong at all phases of the game. What is not to love?

With Zone-Tan making a cameo, the «plot» thickens.

I don't think Na'Vi is a bad pro team, but I think on their glory days, they were 1 or 2 steps ahead of the opposition. Like a seasoned veteran playing among kids.

They didn't only win, but did it with such a dominance performance you would think the enemy team had no chance. Beating Na'Vi would instantly bring a no-name team to the spotlight.

But now I feel every team learned the basics. You can't mess around on the early game or do crazy dives and expect to go unpunished. Plus a new patch give the teams a fresh start as old heroes and tactics phase out.

I expect them to win a lot, but I won't bet my rares blindly on them.

I watched Overwatch trailer and what can I say? I'm hyped.

I'm a sucker for almost anything sci-fi and with asian martial arts (ninjas, samurais, monks) and this game just looks like have it all!

To boot, it's like TF2 made by Pixar. I don't think there is a single character there I didn't like.

Of course, much stuff can go wrong. The gameplay may be too shallow, or too imbalanced. The game may be crippled by bugs or server issues, or the game may simply take too long to be released.

But based on what I saw, on the cinematic trailer and the gameplay traiiler, it's looks good. Too good actually. It's like Blizzard is trying to win me back giving exactly the kind of game I'd love to play.

I don't want to admit but i'm hyped. I want to play with the robot monk, and the robot-robot, and to draw flying medic with time-skip girl.

While the game isn't launched, I guess I'll have fun with Gnome expansion of Hearthstone.

Overall, thie Blizzcon had good news for me, and I haven't even checked the Starcraft and Warcraft news…
